Viemos no primeiro dia e repetimos o jantar no último dia. Vale super a pena! Comida deliciosa com ótimo atendimento. E o lugar é um charme!
Chegamos meia horas antes do encerramento e fomos muito bem atendidos. Os pratos estavam muito bons.
Nice restaurant with outdoor seating and overlooking a major and very popular road. Looks like an Asian but you can also enjoy French delicacies here. It's good for individual and group relaxation as well. Given the ambience and services on offer the price can be rated as very affordable and inexpensive.
Delicious food but the wait time for the food to come out was insanely long. We came during a weekday and we thought we were lucky to get a table for 3 around 7PM, but the whole meal was about 1 1/2 hours to get all the food on the table. They did give us some bread in advance. However we were very tired by the time we finished our meal.
We ordered the roast duck, steak and cheese plate with honey comb. Everything was lovely, no complains on the food.
I’ll back again for another meal with my friends, hopefully the food wait time would be shorter.
We were in downtown SF and picked this place for lunch because it was a sunny day and the restaurant had outside seating. We ended up not eating outside because it was too windy in the alley where the restaurant is located. We didn't regret eating inside because the interior felt comfortable and cozy. We were seated promptly even though the restaurant was almost full. Service was fast, friendly and efficient. I had the cold cuts plate (assiette de charcuteríe) and the trout with green beans (truite amandine) and both were very good. The kids had the roasted chicken and emptied their plates. Recommended, I would eat here again.
Great find for French dining in San Francisco. The escargot was prepared to perfection. The foie gras was perfectly balanced with a berry compote. The swordfish was an incredible fish cooked to perfection. Looking forward to my next visit.
Feeling fancy during lunch! I started with a Sparkles in the Sky cocktail which was a sparkling wine with lavender. I actually enjoyed it as the lavender was just a hint and it didn’t taste like soap and the drink had a good amount of sweetness. We started the meal with the Foie Gras Au Torchon and it was delicious! It was rich and silky and went amazing with their walnut raisin bread. That probably could have been my meal. As my main course, I got the Steak Frites with bone barrow butter and port shallot sauce. I ordered it medium rare, but it seemed more like rare to me as there was a lot of pink and a lot of parts that weren’t as cooked as I would like. The steak itself (or the parts I ate) was really good though and I like the butter and the sauce.
Overall, it was a good meal. I felt very rich after eating it.
First time visiting this nice little French place between Kearney & Grant. Somewhat hard to see if your not looking for it. Had the French onion soup and would return just for the soup. Recommended. Entrée was the duck 🦆 confit, with lentil. Both were also very tasty and well prepared, also recommended. Service was pleasant. Medium priced and worth finding, if you haven't been already.
Delicious French restaurant that is a hidden gem in San Francisco's down town area. Very French flavours and atmosphere. I recommend this place. It gets busy. Make sure you book!!
Cafe Claude was wonderful. The staff was wonderful. The ambience was wonderful and eclectic. The food, ooo la la! The morrow bitter on a perfect steak, and so so tasty steak were amazing. We started with a drink " perfect something" and ended with a creme brulee and apple carmel tart. Wow. The parking is a challenge but so worth it. Fun to walk around the city too.
Very good. I was pleased with the happy hour menu. Prices are fitting for the quality of food and wine. It's a quaint spot, make sure you make reservations as they fill up quickly in the evening!
Amazing restaurant! French onion, steak frites, and duck were incredible. Make sure you go during live jazz.
Everything was fantastic. The steak, the wine, the entertainment, the service, and the overall vibe were excellent. We got the steak frites, french onion soup, and a glass of Pinot noir.
This is my second time visiting this gem of a cafe near the Chinatown Gate in SF. They offer French food at reasonable prices, with some lovely live music playing while you eat. I had their Duck Confit and I would say the meat was very crispy and tasty. It felt like duck heaven in my mouth! Just to note that I like my duck crispy so it may come out as a little dry for some other folks. I had some Malbec to pair with the duck and the server suggested it as a better wine even though it was a lower price than what my party was originally looking at. I would come back to this place again!
Steak and Frites! This place is incredible for business lunches. Efficient, friendly and smart service staff mixed with absolutely delicious menu items. Highly recommend this spot - it's unlikely to disappoint someone wanting a simple business lunch.
Omg this place is great. Visiting for the weekend on vacation, came here for a late lunch and it’s crazy good. My gf and I both got the Croque Madame and the French Golden Ale. Both are helllllllla good. The salad that came with it was amazing, too.
Wines are very good. Food is OK. Service is friendly. Ambience is nice.
