Seating and service: the open court yard is nice and very peaceful! The staff have always been very friendly.
Food: the pizza, penne, soup, and Cesar salad were all great! We went here twice actually in 1 week. The portions are very big! A small pizza feeds
Service is excellent, portions are huge, pizza is on point and best lemonade in San Diego. If you’re eating in old town and not eating at Pizza Bella, you messed up.

Every time we go to San Diego, it's the only place we dine. We love the food here. The service and the family atmosphere are well worth the 1.5 hour drive.

One of the best meals I've had in a long time. 1st the minestrone soup is a must have. Fresh vegetables & the broth has nice roasted garlic flavor, among others.
Also had the eggplant parmesan on a bed of spinach. Very tasty. The meatball isn't loaded with fillers that tend to bloat me.

Flew down for the Guns and Roses concert was eyeing this place and had the classic all meat pizza and it was delicious. A large lasted a couple of meals. Very friendly and inviting atmosphere.
Had pizza and antipasto salad. Pizza was good, but the antipasto salad was delicious! Prices are very high. $52 dollars
