There's much to like about this place. The food is very good, both the salad/starter buffet and especially the excellent and varied meats which just keep on coming and coming... so by the time the dessert trolley rolls around you're about to burst at the seams ("Finally, monsieur – a wafer-thin mint...") The service is slick and efficient; not necessarily the friendliest, perhaps, but then this is not really that kind of operation. And the decor and ambience is pretty nice, as well. I was trying to decide between 4 and 5 stars, and in the end went for the latter on the strength of the food, and in particular the meat. Not cheap, but worth it.
Barbacoa is my alltime favorite steakhouse in Brazil! This place provides the best service and grilled meat you can imagine.
The seating is super comfy along with a cozy lighting and ambience. The waiters are swift, friendly and helpful.
Their salad bar is vast, delicious and fresh. You lose count of the various options you have, super recommended.
Then comes their special Brazilian bites: pão de queijo and pastelzinhos (cheese and meat).
All you have to do is turn around that button into green to have the best meat cuts ever! The pictures tell the whole story. Their meat is very juicy and succulent, and they prepare it the way you want. The customization at this place is perfect👌🏻
The price is super quality directed, you can eat all you want with the price of rodízio!
Wow, this is one of the best restaurants I've eaten at in Sao Paulo. The restaurant is pretty big, and although it was full tonight it didn't feel particularly crowded or noisy. They serve a delicious bread basket (don't go too crazy, because you'll fill up too fast).
The salad buffet is impressive! By far the most beautiful salad buffets I've ever seen - and I've seen a lot! They continuously refill the plates and bowls so everything constantly looks fresh and new.
Service is fast and efficient and may not seem too friendly, but if you do smile at the waiters, they do smile back! The waiters seem to do a well coordinated dance when bringing out the meats from the kitchen.
Meats are delicious and so flavorful and tender - especially the lamb. There are also waiters going around with sides of various kinds. There are no sauces, but they do give you a very good chimichurri which I really liked.
Save room for dessert, which is served from a trolley. I had the Brazilian chocolate cake and it was to die for! One of the best cakes I've had.
This restaurant is definitely worth the visit. They're also open for lunch, but I don't know which is better. The salad buffet, meats and sides are $ 125 per person. Dessert is extra - about R$ 20. Wine and drinks are extra. We had a bottle of South African Chenin Blanc (white wine) for R$ 89. They do have a pretty big wine list, but most of their wines are red wines. A 10% gratuity is automatically added to your bill.
It was a very nice experience and one that I would recommend.
